Not his fault. Appears the lines on the ferry were slack and she moved astern a little as the weight of the truck took effect.
Very lucky though.

That'll be a severe learning curve for them. At least it was just a truck and a severe disruption of the ferry timetable and not a life.

Good grief he was bloody lucky. I bet Allied petroleum have got new procedures now. Lucky there wasn't a big bang.:)
