Old names I'm not sure if we have or not:
  • Armstrong Saurer
  • Bat
  • Bean
  • Beardmore
  • Fowler
  • Garner
  • Garret
  • Halley
  • Hallford
  • Hornsby
  • Kerr-Stuart
  • Lacre
  • Latil
  • McCurd
  • Pagefield
  • Peerless
  • Shefflex
  • Star
Don't think I have ever seen any of these - most of them I've never ever heard of.
Now, there's the challenge...

Hello all
First time on here so not sure of what you are actually looking for, is it old photos , restored vehicle photos or both. Regarding Maudslay here is a 1940 shot of the Militant 6 ton military truck

Thanks for the photo, and a warm welcome to the forum, please join in (as you already have)with comments and photos

I believe that the horizontal 'board' in front of the windscreen was part of a system to prevent 'gas' from reaching the driver (though I don't know what effect it had for the passenger(s).

I think it is called a gas-sensitive tray which was painted with something that changed colour and warned the occupants of the presence of harmful gases
(i think) :D
