Hi, Tom, and welcome! :)

It might be a Bedford OM (http://wakefield-files.freehostia.com/Bedford-ob.htm) but not easy to identify from three-quarter rear.

It looks like a 1940's or earlier Bedford, but the sharp curve of the roof doesn't look right at the front of the bus.

The logo on the bodyside panel reads "THE CHALET KIANDRA EXPRESS" with a image of a skier ski'ing down a slope in the centre. Not able to find any info on the name using the google/bing search engines.

Is the remains of the bus in the Uk or in a foreign country?

Kiandra began with 10,000 eager diggers scouring the district. It ended in the 1980’s with National Parks bureaucrats trying to remove the last remaining vestiges of human habitation left over from the gold rush by bulldozing buildings.

thanks for the help guys!
i found it looks very smiliar to these Bedford OB buses http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/40_bedfordob.htm , but it's the two curved glass windows (next the a pillar) at the front that are different. i've found that some older american Chevorlet buses have the same (or very smilliar) rear end, but still no luck in identify it correctly. i'm very keen to find out excatly what it is! And yes the bus is currently in a wreckers yard in australia, about a 2hrs drive from where it use to transport people to and from. and yes we do get snow in australia it may seem odd but for such a hot country but most of our snowfields are artifical, haha, still fun.

cheers again for your help fella's
Tom
