Well there are several operators in Gothenburg, but the rules say that an employee from any of the operators may travel for free, if he is in uniform and shows his employee card.
This is because as long as he is in uniform he is expected to answer any question from a passenger, even if he isn't driving, therefore he is "on duty".
During free time they are not allowed to travel for free (altough a couple of years ago anyone empoyed by any operator got a free travel card (bot in Gothenburg and in Stockholm) but that time is gone.
