Attacked bus driver back at work

A Dorset bus driver who has been shot at and had ammonium sprayed in his eyes while on duty is back behind the wheel.

Very sad story. Terrible reflection on 'society' that tolerates these attacks:-
Despite being the sixth attack on the driver he returned to work on Tuesday.
"Most drivers don't report it because they think nothing will be done about it. As long as I go home at the end of my shift - that's a bonus at times with some of the problems we have to face."
Mr Sanderson was left in coma after being attacked while on duty in 1995.
"I've had a fractured skull,
he said he is unable to walk away from his post. this is all I know. I've always driven for a living and at 57, I couldn't get another job at my age."

I think most bus drivers should be given a Medal for what they put up with............
