Google has launched the UK version of its Street View service, which allows users to browse a selection of pictures taken along city streets.

Street scenes in 25 UK cities from Aberdeen to Southampton can be viewed using the service.

The Google Street View car has arrived in Ireland and is going to map the major Irish Cities. Should be interesting in time. Regards Pat.

Google has removed dozens of photos from its new UK Street View service.

Numerous complaints in Japan forces Google to start filming all the street views again and on 12 May, Greece's data protection agency ordered Google to stop filming because of privacy concerns.
