Alan Underwood, of Clinton Road, Far Cotton, Northampton, was teaching a student how to perform emergency stops when the accident happened at the Crick Truckstop last March.
The instructor was standing in front of the truck being driven by the student and when it failed to stop he was trapped between it and another truck.
