Nice to be here Andy, great site. Thanks to all concerned for setting it up, hope it goes from strength to strength.
Got my HGV1 in 91 after ten years driving mobile cranes, quite a few pics to sort through now and scans of various trucks, cranes etc that I`ve worked on or with over the years. Already read some interesting posts on here.

Hello folks , its GØNCW the name is Alan I live in Kent and for forty + yrs I have been trying to make a living turning the wheel. At least I have been able to drive some better gear before the end of my working life .I have been a biker since '56 and my bike dates from 1951 . I spent 6 yrs in the Merchant Navy then driving since 1963 I do a bit of work for part of the year (when available), saving up to visit old friends in Oz and the US..I have been a licenced op since 1981 Best wishes to you all.....Alan
